Trouble with 'Search Box' block

I've recently noticed that when entering a term into the search box on my galleries page, I end up with a results page with many multiples of the same image. I originally thought the problem stemmed from having several different galleries all with the same image in them (eg. wildlife, North America, Mammals all contained the same image of a fox). I decided to remove two of the galleries from my public page to clean things up a bit and hope that this might solve the problem. The two galleries I removed are still on my Smugmug page only I made them private and turned off the search function in the privacy settings. However, despite having a cleaner Galleries page, I continue to have multiples of the same image come up when I search a particular keyword.

Any thoughts or help on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Nick,

If you have uploaded the same photo to multiple galleries with the same keyword when you search each photo will be come up in search results. Changing the search settings will cause your images to be re-indexed. That can take a little time to do. I did go here http://www.npimages.ca/Galleries then entered fox in the search box and only photos from the public gallery come up. When you are logged in you would see results from all your galleries. Visitors to your site will only see results from the public gallery.

Thanks Anthony! I guess I figured it out. For future reference, how would I go about re-indexing the photos? Is there a smugmug tutorial for that?
