Hi everyone,
This is my first post, from my backyard. Looking forward to learning my way around. These were shot with my Nikon D50 and kit lens.

Hi Mike,
I'm new here too, posted my first one today also :
I love photos 1 and 3.
In 1 I might crop the top a little bit more. But it's awesome how you caught that spider.
In the second one, I think the fly is too small.
The third one is exellen, this one is really looking at you
Nice composition, great colors and good focus.
Cheers,
Sigal

The spider was about 2" in diameter. Thanks for the compliments. I'm trying to get the most out of the kit lens before I go spending more money on my new hobby. Technically it isn't new, I have always loved taking pictures but I've always just had point and shoot cameras. I would also like to get a real macro lens.
The Spider almost looks friendly doesn't he nice and sharp too.
I like Fly eyes......... something about fly eyes just gets me every time
Your last bug, he's a beauty, I need one of those at my place.....when your finished with him....send him my way good job.
