Why does video not show my custom domain?

I've just uploaded a video that I want to keep private (family photos). I've uploaded it to my site as an unlisted password-protected gallery. I can view the video and it seemed to upload fine, but it appears that when I mouse over the thumbnail in the "organize site" section, that the URL is just to smugmug.com (https://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-GCfvms/) not to my website:
http://www.alicethompsonphotography.com/organize/Galleries/Video/i-GxBzdbc. When I look at the "custom URL" spot under "gallery settings" I see this: http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-GCfvms

And when I put in what I though would be the custom link (http://www.alicethompsonphotography.com/organize/Galleries/Video/i-GxBzdbc), it asks for my entire smugmug login (username and password), not a guest password to view the gallery. I want to send this to a family member to view without requiring them to create an account. I want them to have the link to the gallery and log in with the password I provide them.

I'm confused. What have I done wrong?

Check the hide owner setting for the gallery. If hide owner is set to yes the URL is changed to www.smugmug.com.

That's perfect! Thank you Denise! That fixed the URL issue. Now I can't seem to get it to play though. Even if I'm logged in to my account. Not sure what that's about. With this link it takes me to the username/password smugmug link:

and with this link:

I can see the thumbnail, but no way to play the video.

Is the gallery set to private? If it is only you can see it, and only when you are logged in.

The visibility needs to be either public or unlisted if you want other people to be able to access it. You can limit access to specific individuals or to people who know the password using the access setting for the gallery. Both of these settings are on the security & sharing tab.

It's currently set to Unlisted and "people with password" access.

The gallery is set to the slideshow gallery style in which the video won't play. From the gallery, click customize > gallery style, and select a different gallery style.
