Found a rather ragged moth - looks like it has been a victim of something and survived, or caught by something. Either way, it wasn't in the best of condition, and I don't know if it will survive the night or not. It's in the small conifer somewhere just now...

It might just be malformed. The mouthparts don't look right.

I can't really tell the species - maybe an oak processionary moth, but that's a guess.

That distinct crescent-shaped mark is wrong for that species. In case it is, and you come across its caterpillars, their hairs are extremely irritant.
