Hawk Identification, please

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been in the forum for a while--too busy with work! But I did have a chance to take a few shots this week. Does anyone know what kind of hawk this is? Photographed on Avery Island, Louisiana.

    That's a terrific shot, Pam. I think that your handsome bird is a juvenile Sharp-shinned Hawk. Were you able to see its tail? A squared tail would be a good field mark; a rounded tail would suggest a juvenile Cooper's Hawk.

    Thank you so much! I have a few more shots of the bird in worse light, so I didn't publish them, but I might have a shot of the tail. Will check! Thanks again, Pam

    With those big feet I believe it's a juvenile Coopers Hawk. Beautiful shot!
