This male spent some minutes upside down, stretching this rectangular web between four of its feet. Soon afterwards, he was walking around, right way up, in the flower again. I don't know what that was all about and can't find anything with a Google search.
The image of the male upright is for identification purposes and of no great merit.
Olympus EM-1, Kiron 105mm macro, twin TTL flash, hand-held.

Thanks, Brian.
I would like to know its function.
The males seem to be around now, on next to my front door last night.
