Is this a poster for a Zombie musical or something?

He is a really good classical guitarist and wanted to have photos taken with a Victorian feel to them, hence the suit and hat. Many images were more conventional but still kept with the theme.
We took many images, I just liked the first lion photo.
Well, it's better than the first, but personally I'd have him look off to camera left, in the opposite direction as the lion. He may not be able to pull off "the look" I'm thinking of anyway.

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.
I've played classical guitar for 23 years now; can't recall seeing this.. is this a custom extension?
I am not a guitarist so can't provide a definitive answer but I know this was custom made and is a copy, or derived from early Victorian era guitars. It has a different sound geared towards classical compositions.

Personally I like to goofy playful look, but that might be because his normal look was not smiley and playful. It was kinda like photographing me.
Is this more to your liking?

Looks like a bass drone to me. Not that that's a thing, I'm just guessing.
Some crazy dudes like Steve Vai play 7 string guitars and guitars with frets on the quarter steps.
