Great exposure for museum shots. If #1 were mine, I'd crop out the woman at the left, perhaps a 4x3 or even a square aspect ratio. Isn't it weird how many people you see in museums who are too busy taking pics of the paintings to like, you know, look at them? lol3.gif

right, but then I was there taking pics of paintings - - seeing why the Vermeer's introduced the optical "Camera Obscura" era in paintings

Auguste Renoir was an impressionist artist that painted nudes
the people in the photos are studying or looking at Renoir paintings
(I did not show actual naked ladies in the photos since this is a family foto site, sorry to disappoint you )

    That is a misleading title

I was interested in seeing how the artist used impressionism to disguise the reality of a nude

I'm more interested in artistic technique and less in mammary gland pouches

There used to be a nudes thread section here - separate because of people with visual sensitivity (I think it's gone)

The Go Figure forum is still on Dgrin, though it isn't very active. Interestingly, when we were discussing its creation, one of the arguments in favor was that people of all ages see nudes in art museums and nobody (well, almost nobody) has a problem with it.

Glad to hear it's still here

I'd love to shoot nudes; the last time I did, there was a revolution in my house...

    I'm still healing.. rolleyes1.gif
