We visited " La Roque" the most beautiful place in France. Along the valley of the Dordonge (River) you can book a hot air balloon ride.
This takes you through the valley and over the hills with great views on castles and small villages. The ride takes 2, 4 or 6 people, flight time 1,5 Hours.
But count at least 1 hr preparation where you are helping the flight crew inflating the balloon. Finally you can climb the basked for a thrilling ride.... raising to an altitude of 2000 meters or 7000 feet....
The flights depart at sunrise and sunset.... , we opted for sunset
After an exciting landing the crew brings a toast to the passengers with a bottle of fine France Champagne . And finally you get you certificate.
All by all a great adventure that lasts 3 hours. Cost is 200 $ per person....
