It has been raining here in the southwest, and today, I went out to shoot the low hanging fog and clouds in the Santa Catalina Mountains.

Nice shot, Dan. I like the juxtaposition of the coolness of the clouds and green foliage with the desert cactus (Saguaro?).

BTW - what is the white at the top of the cactus branches? Is that just the light?

Thank you Jo. Yes, they are saguaros, and the tops are white, especially when wet under diffused foggy light.
