    The Palouse is the first place I thought of when the image opened up. Nice photo!

    And yes, you all want to go there. I did a Muench workshop this past summer. Wonderful and enchanted farmland. Now I have to Google up Abruzzo.

    Very nice shot and interesting on a couple of different levels, Cristobal. Might be worth looking at in B&W.

    Thanks Eric, I agree that it is an almost abstract shot, actually it is a section of a much larger picture...

    Here is a BW version. I still prefer the color version.

    I think both have merit! What's interesting about the BW version is that it allows the eye to flow over the symmetry of the hills without the hard color demarcation caused by the sunset to distract it. To my eye it's more abstract.

    Thanks for the idea Kdog, You are right the pic is less distracting but as Thelensspot says, I love the color contrast. Just different points of view.
