Hey all,
Over the lifespan of my business, I've accumulated a www website, a word press blog and smug mug that I use for my main web presence. Of course I have most of the main social media thingys too.
I checked with smug mug and they don't have a plug in play 'block' or ability to insert word press blogging into a smug mug page, so they suggested that I post here to see how others deal with blogging vs smug mug etc.
Any feedback or strategies would be great to hear. Thanks in advance.

For the amount of blogging I do it makes more sense (to me) to use a blogging platform as opposed to using pages on smugmug.

I use HTML to embed photos from my Smug site into my Wordpress posts so when you click on one of the photos, it takes you to the gallery. This is also good as it shows my watermark as I can't right-click protect the images that are on my wordpress site..
It took about a week of reasonably hard work to get them to match, and then another month to fix minor issues.

I noticed all of these use navigation in the header. I have my navigation bar in a left side bar (http://www.Tuffer.com). Is it just too difficult to sync up wordpress with a sidebar navigation?
No, you just need to find a WP Theme that has the left side nav.
