Stretched Out Harvestman

One day, I was searching for macro subjects when I saw an Opilione in a very unusual pose. I am accustomed to seeing them raised up high on their legs, in walking mode. This one (second image) was stretched out flat against a leaf, with its legs fully extended sideways.
I took one photograph, which was not in best focus and partly obscured by an overhanging leak. As I moved to get a better angle the harvestman ran off. I never saw that one again.
Some days later I found another one, similarly spread, and was able to take a series of images.
The wider views are with the Kiron 105mm. The closer ones are with the Printing Nikkor 105mm. All were hand-held, using TTL flash.

Thanks.
Maybe the plan is to take the leaf as a sail?

Thanks. That's the genus. Do you have a names for it? To be honest, I have been to busy (life intruding again) to search.
"Prone" is very apt!

ID'd as Dicranopalpus ramosus by the late Bob Saville of bark fly fame- apparently the only UK species with the appendage on the palps.

Thanks, Brian
It seems to come in various colour versions and has been in the UK less time than I have:
