Snowing like crazy...where's the boids?

Sitting on the back porch while ago....snowing like a banchie and not a bird on the feeders!

Winter is a bummer :(:

    hey, what's that red/white thingy over on the left? It looks like a barbershop pole. No wonder there aren't any birds - they don't want hair (feather?) cuts in the middle of winterrolleyes1.gif

    (oh, I probably shouldn't say that it is sunny and 80 F where I am:D )

    we have snow here also ---but we keep it up in the mountains and then drive to itmwink.gif that way it does not mess with the feeders rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif

    That's gonna change this year!
    The old lady that owned my House had plants hanging on that.
    We had a wind storm where I lost my only tree 60ft Silver Maple 2 weeks after I moved in. Tree had been here since 1942...go figure.
    So I had no place for my feeders.....so I adopted that pole as a feeding station. Definately needs a color change!!
