Shot of Snowdon (highest mountain in Wales (& England), 1085 metres), taken last weekend.
Beautiful rugged National Park.

Good job. I like how you included some strong foreground. I would post this image at the 2X L size or even maybe 3XL. This is the kind of image that really responds to going " big ". I'd sure like to see more of your neck of the woods.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Nice comp Carl, but light is not ideal. You may want to explore b&w. Cheers!

Great location. Is the shot straight? The lake sure looks slanted, but that could be an optical illusion. I'd love to know!

Yes, atleast it was when I took it. I know what you mean though, when I stitched it, I immediately move to the spirit level tool to correct it, but after checking my wide angle shots, this is how it appears. I think its because of the weird shape of the lake and the way the mountain cradles it - optical illusion!

your quite right, the light was harsh and hazy, especially to the left of the shot - pitfalls of pano photography!

Good idea exploring B&W though, I'll have a crack at it later and post it for comparison.

I'll post a bigger one later for you!

I'm from South Wales and get 3 or 4 visits a year to the rugged North - its beautiful up there, I'm trying my best to move! :D

Amazing. I'd never believe it if I hadn't seen this effect before in similar locations. :wow
