Nasty little flea!

You don't want this little blighter in your house as a photographic subject, but with a new kitten, often comes a flea circus!

Our poor little Bilbo has had a few - and here is another of them except this one was trapped in the sticky remains of a sugary pudding in a shallow dish on the floor (I was watching TV while having my tea) and I put the dish beside the armchair... - and the flea, well, it must have been on the carpet.

    They may seem no more than a nuisance to the host but a severe infestation can make a kitten dangerously anaemic.
