Used a Cam Ranger with the camera in live view so these old eyes could get a better focus.

Charles, this is exactly the type of composition I was going to attempt to create if not for the thick cloud layer which settled in here for the past three days!

Very nicely done and the focus/exposures are perfect to my eye. clap.gif

Well done. thumb.gif It all happened in the middle of the night here, and I couldn't drag myself out of bed. Got a nice shot of a fat moonset when I got up though.

I know what you guys mean. I wanted to get the end phase also but past my bedtime. Might just have to reverse the first set.

Excellent! I did not succeed with my shots but I surely enjoyed the event. Thanks for sharing your vision.

    Very well done Charles!!

I waited in the rain and fog all evening hoping for a break in the clouds - no joy!

Charles, that's a wonderful sequence you got there. Congratulations! You might just want to submit that one to Spaceweather's Eclipse gallery.

If I had planned better (like a month ago), I wouldn't have found myself at work until 10:30pm local time. The seeing was pretty good and cloud-free except for the first half hour. I tried some shots from the parking lot at work, but when I shoot these things I like to get the entire event, start to finish. I did just that last year, and it turned out pretty good.

Thanks all, it was cloudy here off and on but we had moments where I could catch it between clouds or with just a wisp in the way. So I was able to select the moons and paste it in.
