    That's interesting image and presentation! The dark skies, the pseudo symmetry, the little boats doing the job of scaling, the nice city line, interesting areas of light, the crop, all contributing.
    What is shocking is the rock formation, I am sure they are not shallow waters.....but still...

    The photo was taken across Portland harbor with a 24-70 lens set wide at 24mm and then cropped a little as well. That might account for the distance scale looking that way. Thanks for the kind words!

    Nice shot. I like the pano look here. Works really well with all of the horizontal lines.

    ^ That's much better! A great landscape photo is never without a full moon hanging in the sky somewhere, and then just barely noticeable.
