    What's your weather, Jeff?

Almost had the osprey with the fish............

Others are good, and as you said, you are there. Lucky you with the camera and all! And all those raptors, good lord! I hear the eagle I have been waiting for is now visible.

I don't think I am in good enough shape to get close enough. Actually most people supposedly set up tripods and stuff pretty far away, that is what I heard, but my 400 lens, the one that usually works so well for me, it just does not work that well at a long distance.

    You are certainly getting better!

Hey Jeff.....you've been hanging around with Ben too much and eating that pineapple pizza. Your chopping wings off...like Machinegun does. ne_nau.gifheadscratch.gif Some great birds you have....and not bad weather. Keep up the good work.

I hear we have those kingfishers around here....but I've only seen one flying by while I whizzed by in the boat at about 30mph. Well..I just saw a spec of a bird. I was informed it was a kingfisher. Interesting capture on him/her. thumb.gif

no the light is not as good as it looks and I am working on settings so far i can not work around the nikon iso --i hate noise but in so so light the speed needs to be up --so I work on it the d2hs does better with iso headscratch.gif I just try harder

ah, this is where the exif would have answered it for me... 2h + long lens + high ISO doesn't make for pleasing images, unfortunately. High ISO on its own is ok, especially for indoor low light portraits converted to b&w, i quite like the look. Anyhow, your subject matter is always fun.
