Gallery with zeroes in URL shows parent folder?

When I try to view this gallery:

http://pix.alameth.org/School/Austria-2014/00

instead of seeing the gallery, I see its parent folder. When I added more zeros to the URL, like so:

http://pix.alameth.org/School/Austria-2014/000000000

it still shows the parent folder. Something magic about zeroes?

This gallery worked as expected with Old Smug.

Problem also reported to help@smugmug.com.

I can confirm - zero added to the url will always land me in the parent folder :) Interesting bug.

I thought I read in a forum that gallery names have to start with a letter?

Hmm... if they "have" to start with a certain character, we should be ensuring that an error message is presented for those cases. Let me check with the team on Monday and get back to you

I hope there is no requirements for the gallery name to start with a letter. There is no URL spec limitations in to justify such a thing. We already have a ridiculous requirement to have the URL cAsE sensitive... what next? SM will limit the photographs to by portrait orientation only? :)

Looks to be a bug with galleries named with "0" or all zeros. Other galleries with numbers work just fine. Our team is currently looking into the issue. I'll try to update you when I know more.

You know me well enough by now to be not the least surprised I'd number the galleries starting with 0. :D

The fix for this just went live and it looks like your /00 gallery now works! Interestingly, if you had named it "0x00" it also would not have worked :P

Fix confirmed, thanks! This particular collection is older, but still gets regular activity and has deep links from Facebook and elsewhere. So this is much appreciated.
