Blood Moon over Mount Shuksan

For last month's eclipse, I went to Artist Point near Mount Baker too shoot it rising over Mount Shuksan.

    That's how you get Blood Moon! You got that to come over the mountain on west coast? I was under the impression that unless you have wide open view, the blood part would not wait for moon to come over the mountain! Damn good shot!

    Totality started at Moonrise local time. This was about an hour past just as the Moon was coming out of the shadow of Earth.

    This shot was as it was rising over a saddle just to left.
