No doubt looking for a warm place to spend the winter, this autumnal ladybird was on a leaf of the Leycesteria formosa (pheasant berry) shrub, and eventually dropped below it onto the moss covered rockery. Both places hard to reach so had to rely on looking at the live view screen from quite a distance, but I managed in most instances here to get sufficient focus.

Nice set. I prefer to see, of the appendages, at least the two antennae reasonably sharp.
