Just... wow. Yup, it's that time! We still have two sets she wants to do, but at least managed to grab some before the leaves came down (given the bluster today, I fully expect to wake up tomorrow to bare trees!). And yes, I want some with kitty ears, although not sure how that request is going to be received.... :rofl

6. And in colour (amazing sunset - only converted the others because they got too red and i couldn't dial it back without losing too much....)

Lovely!! Yes, i said that with a bit of a tear in my eye.

OK, back to photo critique mode. A bit to heavy on the vignette on a few of these for my taste. I add a vignette, but don't like when it looks obvious like in the middle of #4. Just back it off a bit on a few of these.

Simply lovely! Both the subject and the photography.

Now if we can just get through the "drama" of the senior year and all that goes with it!:D

Thanks all! #3 is my favorite too, fwiw :) And Mitchell, good catch - I totally didn't spot it when I was editing, because I too hate vignette-y vignettes. Tired eyes when I finished those up, clearly.....

Here are a few more from yesterday's session, the first with 5d III - (FINALLY upgraded from the II and good grief I wish I'd been able to do it sooner. IT FOCUSES!! ACCURATELY!! QUICKLY!!!!!! ~and the angels sang~). Learning curve for sure as the exposure is a bit different, especially wit flash, but pretty pleased! This set is one she's been begging to do - she really wanted some in front of the mural (at her school) :)

I have been silently lurking lately, but these photographs are fantastic. You did a WONDERFUL job capturing her personality in these. Very nice job on bringing out colors in the mural portraits. They rock thumb.gif

iloveyou.gif Haha - Michael!! I kid you not, I was thinking of you the WHOLE TIME for the set yesterday, as I knew she wanted a more lifestyle vibe than "mom portrait". Plus, you also held out on the II>III upgrade and will know exactly why I'm doing a happy dance (as well as feeling clueless as I find my way around the new beast!!)

These are great! I love them all, but really enjoy the yellow pop against the mural. Such a lovely, spirited young lady! Enjoy this senior year! It really goes by quickly.
