I went back to Lake Balboa to work on my metering yesterday. I was surprised when I was approached by a fellow dgrinner asking if my name is Sandy. It was a pleasure to meet William (Dallas) who was also photographing birds. ,
I think the new 70-300 lens would greatly improve my photos.

Good to see you practicing your birdie work thumb.gif

If you can come love to meet you and offer any help we can

the light there can be real harsh (bright) so always with white birds EV down start at .7 and go from there, hope that helps.

You to Dallas, hope to see ya there thumb.gif

Nice captures. As Ben noted I'd try setting a EV of -.66 to -1 or possibly more depending on the light for those bright white birds.
