This species (I am fairly sure of the identity) is also in the Trichiales and I found it at the same locality as those in the previous topic, also on wood. Judging by the images on the internet, I seem to have found the scruffiest example. The sixth image shows the spores spilling out, to leave the cups behind.

I use the new sharpening technique on these, although they are still a bit soft.

EM-1 (in manual mode, 1/250), reversed Schneider HM 40 at f16 and x 1.5 TC, twin flash, hand-held.

    The title, which seem uneditable, has a typo. It should be Hemitrichia.
