Hoverfly larva & a barkfly

Just a couple of insects today, a hoverfly larva on an leaf of the apple tree, and barkfly on the fence (a silk strand of a spider's web behind it).

A barkfly! I came across one of those a week or so ago and had no idea what it was or how to search for it

An excellent set. The hover seems to have remains of an aphid snack attached.
