Autumn Sunset on Maui

Driving home last night from the west side of the island, I was pleasantly surprised and awed by the sunset. I nearly skidded to a stop when I realized the color show that was beginning. So glad I stopped!

    Wow, a real light show. I especially like #2 and #3. Glad you stopped.

    Thanks Taz! #3 seems to be a common winner among various circles. Now, if only I could get another chance, only this time with a whale breeching in the middle of the scene...or a narwhal...or mermaid...any of those would be awesome.

    Beautiful Captures. Wonderful light and color. I really like the way the foreground rocks are highlighted by the setting sun in #2. thumb.gifthumb

    I currently have several construction projects going in Maui; these images make me want to take a trip for jobsite inspection.

    C'mon down, Phil. In another couple weeks the humpbacks will be here, the weather is fine right now, and the water is nice and toasty.
