It's been way too long since us RUST JUNKIES have come out of our caves. It's time to party.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

This one looks a bit apocalyptic, like a meteor impacting the earth as seen from the ISS. Very cool .

" Masterustpiece ". Got to love that terminology. I sure appreciate the support, Taz.
Take care,
Tom
I figure, Don, that it's about time we JUNKIES let folks know that we haven't all died off.:D
See you buddy,
Tom
Thanks, Wayne. You can bet that this one is headed for the frame shop.
Take care my friend,
Tom
Glad to oblige you , David. I needed to dive into a little of the rust scene myself.....been too long.
Glad you liked it,
Tom
Think nothing of it, Cristóbal. I try and take care of my buddies.:D
I've sure enjoyed your recent work with abstracts. Keep the good stuff coming.
Tom
There's one entrancing aspect of shooting rust, Richard. I never really know how it's going to turn out until I reach a point where I decide to stop the PP process.
Thanks for your support.
Tom
I'm glad you like it, Phil. It means a lot to me.
This vehicle is a British product....an old ( not sure of the production year ) Morris delivery truck. I am constantly amazed at the colors one can extract from rusty things. This old truck is, in reality, just a mass of brown rust.
See you,
Tom
Thanks for looking in, John. I needed something to stoke my photographic fires. Shooting rust will do it every time.
Take it easy,
Tom
Cheers, Richard.
I would have figured, Richard, that this shot would strike a favorable chord with you. A good portion of your own work has been centered around strong colors and textures.
Stay safe my friend,
Tom
(Just kidding Tom... actually, my eyes are very happy - nice one!!)
The thing is pretty bright. It's one time that a blazing mid-day Sun was friendly. As usual, it's great to hear from you. And I'm real glad to see you back to being more active with the shutter.
Take care,
Tom
