Rosy Brittlegill Russula rosea

This is amongst Beech leaves in a Beech wood I visited last week.

This is the pale pink form, the usual form being dull, flesh pink.

A small snail is approaching it.

    This in Mycena rosea, which is what I though when I photographed it,not Russula rosea. Sorry about that. I had a head cold at the weekend and should have been more alert for errors.
