Wildlife forum is quiet so I said I might as well post something. Tried my luck at Farralon Islands - 30 miles from SF coast. Turns out most of the birds leave this time of the year. It was still a thrill!

All criticism and kind comments heartily cherished!

2) Blue Whale - Never thought I will see one but saw this with Farralon in background

3) Blue Whale proof thanks to it showing its fin

4) Some researches still reside on the islands

5) Humpback whale ready for deep dive with Farralon's in background - this is where continental shelf drops of

Classic shot of the humpback fluke--really nice with the island in the background and detail in the barnacles. I also like the pelicans. Too bad they chose a rock that was so close in color to their plumage, but that's what birds do. Great work catching a Booby! Nice set.

Is that what that T-shirt means? I've been misinformed.

Wow, you really livened up the Wildlife forum, Taz. I like the minimalist look and blue tones in #'2 and 3. Feels very serene and peaceful looking at them. #5 is special with the great background, water action and focus. I find the pelicans shot to be an attention grabber as they almost seem to blend here which makes the shot interesting to me. Carry on!

THANKS Wayne and Cristobal! Means more to me than I can express!bowdown.gifbow

If you don't mind, can you say anything about #10?
When I got it I thought it might be "something" but since then my own view of it has dimmed......
What is it lacking or framing wise should I have done.......?
This was on open see with dramatic light in background.......
