Phil,

It's looking good. I suspect that, as with marble, it will be a heat sink, providing a cool surface to slow down your subjects.

Harold didn't really think about how cold the surface was in the fairly warm kitchen , it took ages before it started to stop walking . Must have got cold feet

Phil, I was thinking of how pastry cooks use a slab of marble in the kitchen to keep the mix cool.
