Saturated Color

Beauty is all around us. I don't always have my DSLR with me, but I typically have my phone.

I spotted these colorful leaves when I was in our shop side yard, checking inventory for some large angles.

The morning fog had dampened the leaves and increased the saturation, just as the sun was beginning to burn through the fog.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

As time goes by, and I continue to learn and practice my craft. I have found that I have become more aware of the interaction of light and shadow, with shapes, colors and textures in my daily life.

I hope to retire (for the 3rd time) in June of 2016, and spend more time chasing the light.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

The colors are amazing, and this shot captures the beauty of Fall! I'm wondering about the light reflection off the wet leaves... It seems bluish to me. Do you see it too? The other colors seem perfect. And I love the composition!!

Thanks for viewing and commenting. The image was captured and processed in the phone. Now that you mention it I do see a slight cast. The only thing I can figure is the fog was lifting and the sun must have been reflecting off of the blue gray metal building behind me.
