Ladybugs are back hibernating in their favorite spots in Bay Area! I made my annual pilgrimage! Every time I try macro I find it to be most difficult form of photography. Purely for sadists!:D

All criticism and kind comments are heartily cherished!

Thanks for the visit here JBR and kind comment! Appreciate it truly!
Yes, Macro is the only time I run out of battery because I was trying to use auto-focus and can't get it to work. If the bug is not moving, the leaf or grass it is sitting on is moving. Even when everything stops, you still can't figure out why there is no focus. When you occasionally get something in focus, you feel like cheating because it feels like accident. Oh the trials of macro......:D

Put a camera in your hands and... is there anything you can't do? These are Grrrrreat! (Tony the Tiger emoticon goes here).

We don't get nearly the number we used to here. I do remember the hordes of them from back when I was a kid.

David, don't have words to express my gratitude!

I am glad to hear from you here because #6 and #7 were inspired by your last shot of the rust that you posted. There was a band on the left in it that made it for me. When I saw them crawling up the fence, that shot was dancing in my head I tried to use the same band idea!

    Cheers and thanks!bowdown.gifbarb

Thanks kindly Wayne! I am learning from the best macro maestros here. Diffusion being the most important gear concoction and focus being most critical skill. Sometimes one just lucks out as 95% neither of the two works. Cheers m8!
