LR keywording for SM, and person name changes

I'm working on my Lightroom keywording strategy for photos I will publish to SM. I'm curious how others are handling the situation where a person's name changes over time due to divorces and remarriages.

Another question - I've seen examples where people create a parent keyword for each closely related family and this appeals to me because it would let visitors to my galleries search for all of my family's photos, my brother-in-law's family's photos, etc. But this implies my wife's keyword would have to show up in two hierarchies: her parent's family and mine. I'm not aware of anyway to do this in LR. Am I missing something there?

So, what do you folks do?
Jerry

Couldn't you just keyword photos of her with both maiden and married name? Anyone searching under her maiden name would get those same photos as if they searched under her married name. We can handle lots of keywords, so it should be OK. I typically tag all of my photos with the peoples names and if they get married and change names, I just tack on another keyword with the new name. If you're using lightroom you can just click on "All Photographs" in your Catalog, then do a search on the name, select-all, then (while in the "Library" module) add the new keyword in. If you've been using the SM LR Plugin, then it'll also auto-detect the photo has changed and let you republish everything. to add the new keyword.
