Meadow Waxcap Hygrocybe pratensis

These were photographed at the same site as the previous set. I don't recall shooting a cross-eye stereo pair but I seem to have done so.

This species is edible but I did not collect any.

EM-1, Kiron 105mm at f16, treble flash, in rain, hand-held.

Thanks. It gives the illusion of sunlight, something not seen much of on that day. I am very pleased with the lighting flexibility my mini monopods give me.

Waxcaps tend to grow vertically and not give more than a side view of their gills.
