I'm working on a loose theme of 'scenes from east tennessee' and wanted to get a shot of some of the towers in the town where I live--

I thought the best way would be a poster versus five different photos--

any suggestions regarding the photos and/or the way I've put this together would be appreciated--

What are you doing this for? It may help if we know... A framed photo on the wall? A post card? ( I have a digital picture frame that I like using photo's like this on)

My first thoughs were why the white background. It's to loud for the photos that are on it. Second I think a little to much blank spaces. Maybe if you keep the "poster board" look you may want to add some black around each picture to help break it up more.

I didn't think the pictures were to bad, I liked the bottom 3 the most.

I'm mainly doing this for my own benefit--

got into digital in a big way last spring and have been working on sports, landscapes, architecture, portrait, black and white, learning ps--
haven't really settled on one thing yet--

I travel some for work and have been shooting what I see that interests me
and maybe I would put together something eventually--

wasn't sure what this poster needed to make it presentable and thought I would ask--

looking for suggestions just like yours--

    thank you very much--

Well here goes..I like the concept and I agree with 1iBandit for making the pics stand out more. The bottom 3 are really nice, the top 2 seem tight to me. Just feel like i need to see more on the sides for perspectivene_nau.gif

    Thusie-

    thanks much for responding--

when you say you need to see more on the sides you're saying the top two pics are too small, or I'm trying to put too much into them, or I need more on the sides of the poster?--

Sorry about that. What I meant is I think they are cropped to close to the towers on each side, 2nd shot, and need a bit more on the left in the first. Now that is just me and I'm usually all wet on this stuff:):

    I agree with Thusie.

It seems as if there is a lot of space on the top half and them no extra space at the bottom. Is there more to the first 2 images that you could add on and not crop so tightly?

I like the concept of the poster.
