Think the male must have told his girlfriend about the free food because I found a female the next day in the kitchen. I took the opportunity to do a comparison of my normal canon 5dmk2/MPE-65/ 430Ex flash rig against my new SonyA7/ metabones adapter/MPE-65/ Nissin DI700A flash rig. Both using RAW shots. I'm actually surprised how similar the shots turned out especially bearing in mind different processing software. All shots focus stacked using zerene

No the shots alternate between cameras. I purposely have not labelled which is which. You can click on the picture and get to flickr where you can see which camera was used.

Thanks for the comments Phil - the sony A7 is a bit of a bargain at the moment - available at £599 Including £200 cashback plus a metabones EF adapter for further £100.
I did wonder about one of the canon 5ds/r but can't think I really need that files size. My old 5Dmk2 is approaching 160K clicks so I'm expecting it to pack up shortly.
