Recently came upon a Peregrine with fresh kill (Scoter). The breast seems pink because this bird was banded and painted this fall, the dye has almost faded out. The falcon was flushed by two very large and persistent gulls....as the falcon dove at the gulls I was able (from my truck window) to get a few in flight shots which are rather hard to come by in my experience.
