Smokin' shot, JB! I got a few shots the other day when that same swell hit Mavericks which is our Jaws. I'm envious though. We don't get that blue water out here.

definitely larger waves than on the US east coast !

These were all shot from about 400yds away, on a cliff-top roughly 150' above the sea.

Canon 7D
Canon EF 75-300 II (yep...an oldie but goodie)
Mono-pod fully collapsed for a seated position.
