The big swell that had hit Hawaii made it to the CA coast last week. All these shots were taken in the span of 20 minutes. Then our boat had a motor electrical fire and we had to get towed back to shore. There were top surfers from around the world in town practicing for the contest which will happen later in the season. What a bummer. :cry

    Great stuff. At first 8 really impressed me but then I saw the halos. Try again maybe?

    Bummer to hear about the boat troubles, but glad you got out there! I wanted so badly to shoot JAWS from a boat, but no such luck this time around.

    #3 is my favorite of this set. Very real moment captured.
