Dear all,
I would like to write in my smug mug site short
articles and have embedded some images (examples on what I am talking about).
Do you have any idea on how I can do that ? The text boxes do not allow me to include images at all.

Option 2) Use an HTML block on a PAGE
Option 3) Use Blogger, Wordpress, or similar blogging platform for a blogging instead of a photo portfolio/selling platform

There is a help page that describes how to create a photo "blog" in SmugMug - https://school.smugmug.com/SmugMug-Tips/How-to-Make-a-Photo-Blog. It's simply a page that contains both text and photo content elements.

If you are going to write only occasionally it may be reasonable to use a page like this. If you are going to write often I'd recommend using a blogging product for the blog entries. You can see an example on my site by clicking the blog menu item. My blog is hosted at www.blogger.com. I know other smug users who have their blogs in Wordpress.
