Show A Count Of The Number Of Galleries And Photos Within Each Category

Is there a way to show a count (in text underneath the thumbnail for each category) of the number of galleries and photos within each category? I used CSS to do this in Old Smugmug.

    There's currently not an option to display how many photos are in a gallery or folder. Only if you're in a gallery and use the SmugMug gallery style, would you be able to see the number of photos in the gallery below the main photo on the right.
