Great shot. thumb.gif There's an outstanding series of photos that's run on the start-up of Windows 10. One of those pictures is almost a carbon copy of your shot here....taken from a slightly different perspective.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thank you so much for the kind words.

I'll check the pictures you mention, unfortunately I have no access to Windows 10.

    Have a great 2016 everyone.

Not used to seeing much green in GC shots. Glad you were able to get some of that into the shot. Adds much better depth and an organic feel to the shot.

Now this is a wowZer !

It sure does draw you in. This has pretty much everything -- vegetation, the canyon, the river , the sky and the horizon, drama... just awesome!

This is really nice and has great dynamic range...just wondering if this is HDR? Love the picture!

    Thank you Sam,

It is always haze at the Canyon but working on layers help me to remove it.

Thank you for the kind words, this shot was captured at Desert View Point, it is located at the North side of the South Rim.

    Thank you Wayne,

It is one single shot, not HDR but it took me a few hours of work in PS to cut the haze and adjust the exposure on all the levels. The light was very smooth that afternoon and that help me to capture the deep of the Canyon and the sky with a nice exposure.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments.
