Some snaps from my pre-NY's trip to Death Valley where I met up with my old friend Aaron. Used a different title as not to confuse.

Gives you an idea of how long we have known each other and been shooting together.

    They are all good!
    #1, #2, #3, #8 and #9 are excellent!
Love the converging of water with the main hill at distance in #8! Perfect leading line!!
For #7 my instinct is to semi-fudge the horizon even if this was natural......kind of keep equal distance from mountain to top of the sky to take the lean out of it....
    Cheers my friend!

Shots of K-dog are great Aaron! I think if an inch is taken of the bottom of first shot from badwater....it would be great!
    cheers!

Thanks, Taz! Really appreciate your expert eye as always. If I made the mountains parallel to the sky then the salt playa would be tilted. You just can't win. mwink.gif

Thanks! It really is, and it's huge. The more you see of it, the more you realize you've barely scratched the surface.

Hope to see you crazy guys again soon, chemo is keeping me from too much ambitious treking, but I can drive and hike a little. Perhaps devils fire in spring? Camp the night...ne_nau.gif

Yikes, sorry to hear it, Aaron. I'm not familiar with Devil's Fire, but knowing you it's pretty good. We really are due for a reunion trip. Get well soon and let's do this. deal.gif

I appreciate 7,8 and 10. They are quite different from most; I have never seen a shot from the area like these. Sure wish you were still in AZ but your seem to be growing and going forward!

Thanks, Anna Maria! Death Valley becomes a different place in the winter.

I wish I was in Arizona as well. But California ain't too shabby either for the interim. :D

Thanks, Sam. Daytimes weren't bad at all. After the sun goes down it gets chilly fast though. nod.gif
