A few shots of Lady Liberty, from a trip I took with my middle son today to Ellis Island, where immigrants first arrived in New York harbor between about 1890 and 1954. (more on Ellis Island later...) Regards...Keith

    Being from the "other" coast the Statue of Liberty is something I've yet to see in real live. Thanks for giving me something to hold me over.

    Impressive
    The first one is really poping out.

    When I've been there years and years ago, it was a very cloudy misrable day, couldn't see much.

    The other two, are nice, but not as striking as the first one.

    It's nice to see the "cage" is gone. That's my last memory of the statue before I left for the west coast.

    Good job, nice you had clear blue skies too...
