Great reflection. I'm guessing the sky was processed separately in this shot as it's a lot more contrasty and darker than the one in the reflection. That's what makes the photo look photoshopped to me.

That sure is a beautiful reflection. I like the composition. I too see the different hue in the blue sky.

I agree with the others. It's a fine shot and fixing the sky would make it really good.

    Thanks for you feedback everyone.

I used a graduated ND filter so that probably why the sky appears darker. I'll give it a lift tonight and re-post.

    Cheers

Very appealing! My theory-in-progress on reflections in scene like this is that you need another distraction....some stone, rock, grass, pebble or something.....it is still nice....but need something that breaks the mirror.....Cheers!

your quite right, and I thought the same when on location, there was one rock in the lake, but couldn't frame it up suitably with the reflection, (it would have been sitting in the mountain reflection instead of the preferred sky reflection), I'll carry a boulder up with me next time to better balance the shot! mwink.gif

Good idea!! I am sure they make portable boulders!:D
The sky matches now at least on my monitor!
    Cheers!
