    I had no idea rust could be so colorful. Yes, now I see the out of focus wheel.

    That's the way I wanted it..So yes I opened up the aperture and focused on the middle pulley.

    Thanks Sara! Your feedback is always so kind and helpful...thank you! I took a lot of shots here. There were actually three engine blocks sitting here in a line with some great colors and close up opportunities!

    While I fail to see the appeal of one blob out of focus in image of an object (if there was one piece that was highlighted surrounded by bokeh, that wold be differeent), it is good to know it was intentional.thumb.gif

    You have a different take on the picture, Taz...and that's OK...photography is not THIS is right and THAT is wrong...but an opportunity to view something in an endless variety of ways and record it. What you see as "one blob out of focus" may seem creative to another. My only disappointment is that is wasn't MORE out of focus. I always appreciate your take on my shots but sometimes we disagree. Nothing wrong with that...it makes the world go round! I like the picture.
