Looking for help with changes

Hey all I need some help with editing my site.

I'm trying to make it look more like the attached image.

My current site : pyxelography.smugmug.com

I need to continue to shrink the thumbnails. I'm also not sure if I can do that white background around the thumbnails or how to do it.

Additionally does anyone know the size of the smugmug background screen so that I can resize the images in the background to fit better?

Any help appreciated looking to finish this as soon as possible thanks.

I suspect that image is not from a SmugMug site. There is (was) a hack somewhere (I believe in this forum) that shows a smugmug-style gallery with the thumbs below the main image, but that wouldn't help with the home page.

The actual size of the background depends on the size of the browser window, doesn't it?

That's what I thought as well. I tried to get all the galleries on one line unsuccessfully. That is really the biggest issue of getting them on one line.

You might want to rethink the background slideshow. I've taken a look at your site and it doesn't matter what page (or folder or gallery) I am looking at, the slideshow pulls my eyes away from the photos.

You should also change the max display setting in your galleries. If you allow access to the Original you are essentially giving the image away from free. Set the largest display size to at most X3Large.
