Taken the in desert. This was very hard due to the amount of thorns, and other cacti. Ouch...

    Wow Anna Maria! For someone who has hiked and climbed in the southern deserts, I can attest to the facts that Cholla move around, find you, and stick to you till you literally start crying. Someone else has to pull them off for you!
    So I salute your COURAGE to go near one!
    The shot is lovely! Colors, textures, and beauty!
    I am also amazed by DOF that you got as everything is in focus!

    Thank you so much. I have learned to always have a comb to knock those leeches off and step very carefully. ! And yes they make the biggest, meanest person cry! :cry
