    Hi sdfan

    It would help if you gave us the link to your website as well :)
    A reason for the photo not showing up could be that it is loaded from a not-yet-updated Facebook cache. There was a trick on how to get FB to update...let me see if I can find it

    Here it was...

    Facebook caches data from links, and when you post any link to Facebook, the data that's shown (image thumbnail and text) is pulled from Facebook's internal cache. You can update Facebook's cache for any URL by plugging that URL into their Debugging tool: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/ Enter the URL in question there, and click Fetch New Scrape Information. Doing that should update Facebook's internal cache with the current info (i.e., current featured photo for that gallery and gallery description). That information should update on its own in time, but doing this will force an immediate update.

    Thanks did that and great information, but the picture on my website (www.indesignphoto.com) still does not show-up when I paste a link into Facebook. Do you have any more suggestions?

    Follow-up. I did see the following at Facebook link you provided earlier, in plain English what does that mean? My photo is rather large (3348 x 1698px)

    og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that's at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image 'http://cdn.smugmug.com/img/spacer.gif' will be used instead. Consult http://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/crawler

    The photo FB uses to show alongside the link to your homepage is the photo given in a meta-tag looking like this (for my page)
    <meta property="og:image" content="http://www.lilleulven.com/photos/i-xwQfCHf/0/L/i-xwQfCHf-L.gif" />

    This happens to be the photo you defined as your profile-photo. You can set your profile photo by clicking in the smug mug header (when you are logged in :D) on your icon and choose there Edit Profile -> About Me the fifth entry form the top defines your profile photo.

    Best of luck
